Corbets Tey School

Having taught at Corbets Tey School since 2022, and previously being a teaching assistant, I possess a deep-rooted understanding of our students’ diverse needs and the unique operational landscape of our SEN setting.

I welcome the opportunity to take up the Staff Governor role because I am personally invested in our school’s long-term vision and eager to contribute to the strategic decisions that shape our pupils' futures.

My role has provided me with a firm understanding of the day to day running of the school. I value relationships with families hugely and always put an emphasis on supporting them in the best way I can. I am fully prepared to transition into a governance mind-set, acting as a "critical friend" to leadership by offering evidence-based insights rooted in four years of dedicated service.

My goal is to bridge the gap between staff experience and board oversight. I am committed to helping continue its vital mission of empowering every student to achieve their full potential.
