Behaviour Management Training (two morning sessions)


Providing school staff with the understanding, resources and confidence to positively resolve challenging behaviour


Course Content

The first session will provide school staff with practical methods to observe, record, summarise and analyse incidents in order to understand the factors contributing to the challenging behaviour.  The second session will focus on how teams around a child can use this deeper understanding to develop effective and appropriate intervention strategies to bring about a positive change. The course will provide key staff with the confidence and knowledge to be the behaviour specialist in their setting.


Who is the course aimed at?

The course is designed to meet the needs of Special Educational Needs Coordinators (SENCos), behaviour leads and other staff responsible for managing and delivering interventions for students experiencing difficulties with behaviour in their school.

Toolkit for Working Confidently with Complex Learners (Two Day Course)


Providing school staff with the understanding and resources to work positively and confidently with students with complex needs, challenging behaviour and barriers to their learning.

With Half-Day Follow Up Support Sessions Covering:

  • Personalised Daily Timetables and Establishing Routines for Independence

  • Sensory Diets, Sensory Play and Engagement within the Curriculum


Who is the course aimed at?

The course is designed to meet the needs of Special Educational Needs Coordinators (SENCos), class leads and other support staff working with students with complex needs. Best practice would include joint attendance with SLT, SENCo and TA and.or Class Teacher and TA to develop shared understanding and maximise planning opportunities.
