I am currently at a parent at the post 16 provision within Corbets Tey. My son is now 18 and he has attended Corbets Tey school since the age of 4.

I have another son that attends a local mainstream secondary school.
I am a full time mum and carer to my children and live locally.

I am very passionate about our school, parents and students.
I have previously been a volunteer for First Step a charity that supports special needs children and their families, in which I help run a support group for the parents.
I also help out at the charity called Riding for the disabled each week, which allows the children of Corbets Tey to ride horses and gives them a much needed therapy session. I have over 18 years of equine experience.
I also work alongside the palliative care team at Queens hospital supporting patients and their families.

I bring to the governing board a parents view of the school and feels this can help greatly in making decisions.
