I have worked in the London Insurance Market for over 35 years and have recently decided to go into semi-retirement.

I am married with two children, both having left university and now working in the City. I have a number of interests, sport being my favourite pastime, playing and watching. This has given me the opportunity to take on new challenges, one of which is school governor. I feel I am especially privileged to be handed my first role as governor here at Corbets Tey School.

I have much to learn, but hope my experience and genuine interest in the health and well-being of the children will stand me in good stead and will be an asset to the board going forward. I am also involved with the Residents Association of Emerson Park, which is part of the Havering Residents Association.
